Shares of Missfresh Ltd. experienced a 9.09% decrease, closing at 56 U.S. cents on Tuesday. The reason for this decline is the announcement made by the Chinese online grocer the day before, stating that it is at risk of being delisted from the Nasdaq.
In a statement released on Monday, the Beijing-based company revealed that it had received a delisting notice from the Nasdaq. This notice was issued because Missfresh Ltd. did not meet the minimum $10 million stockholders' equity requirement for continued listing by June 5, 2023.
